Coming in after a very long list of important updates this year to Squirrly SEO — which you can read all about here and on the sub-links — we’re ready to present a massive update to User Experience.
Squirrly SEO: Newton was created to bring you the Full Force of SEO. With the 12.4 versions, we’re now making the experience easier for everyone.
This comes as a result of Florin, Calin, Peter, Irina, Cristina and Alex speaking to many clients this year and finding out more about the actions they want to achieve and the things that stand in their way. Plus, it was important to understand which features weren’t visibile enough (such as Google Indexing API and auto-indexing inside the WordPress Plugin + the installation button for the Advanced Pack).
This big update brings the following changes:
- Configure Your SEO – new section inside the HOME of the Squirrly SEO Plugin. This one is the link to ONE PAGE SETUP experience
- AI SEO Consultant moved to its own location within the plugin
- AI SEO Consultant now gives notifications inside the HOME section of the plugin. Can be reached through there
- Rebuilding the Overview section and renaming it to HOME
- Changes to upper area to show the Value Proposition of Squirrly SEO and also the version number (in HOME)
- AI SEO Consultant can now be reached via the Admin Toolbar for Squirrly SEO
- Notification Area included in HOME to see how many Next SEO Goals there currently are
- New background image inside HOME section, to better represent our company’s current direction with AI SQuirrly – AISQ
- Presenting the Squirrly SEO Suite ! USERS have complained that Advanced Pack for Squirrly SEO was very hard to reach. This is now fixed.
- the home section also presents better information on how the Premium Plan works and that no extra plugin is required, due to things being handled from the SaaS side of Squirrly SEO
- Automations used to have 3 different sections, and its own menu item. This has changed.
- Can see: Free | Premium | Advanced Pack (installed for free) | Web Dev Kit in the Home Section now.
- Users will now have an easy time getting access to advanced schemas, re-usable schemas, redirects, etc. Because the Advanced Pack can be easily seen and installed with one click
- Collapse Button experience in the main menu and in all the submenus – improved
- NoIndex and NoFollow marks inside the All Posts section of WordPress. You will now have a super easy overview on these important matters
- One Page Setup – removed from menu. Easily accessed from HOME now
- Live Assistant Section – BIG Modifcations here
- Bulk SEO has been moved to the Optimize section
- Live Assistant section of the menu is now Called: Optimize
- The bar that asks you to place all your new post types to Squirrly SEO Automations, used to take up a whole section. Now it appears in Squirrly SEO – Optimize – Automations. ONLY if it is needed. If there is nothing to add, it doesn’t show.
- SEO Automations – removed from the main menu. Is found in Optimize Now.
- Joined the special additional settings of the SEO Live Assistant with the SEO Automations, inside the new Optimize – Settings area
- Automations – Settings has been move to Optimize – Settings
- BULK SEO no longer found in Main Menu. Has been moved to Optimize
- The texts inside Auto-Indexing now show that connection with GSC is required, to make the auto-indexing to Google as well, not just Bing and other search engines in IndexNow
- Many text improvements to the new Auto-Indexing section of Squirrly SEO. The purpose was to make it in-line with what we do inside Next Level Marketing AI, and to prepare for the future where Cloud App of Squirrly SEO will also do Auto-Indexing
- Index Now section is now called: Auto-Indexing
- Import and Data section has been removed from Main Menu. MOVED to Technical SEO section
- New texts in Auto-indexing make it obvious that auto-indexing is also made on Google now
- Briefcase – removed from main menu. Can be found in AI Research
- Old SEO Configuration zone is now called Technical SEO, as per the jobs to be done
- Keyword Research is now called AI Research – because it’s a complete Research Area powered by our KR Assistant made by the Squirrly Company and also to show the new KR tools are powered by algorithms we created that use OpenAI to find the most human-language keywords possible. This has increased the number of good keywords users find and rank for.
- Squirrly SEO Live Assistant – Human Friendly checks improvements.
- Breadcrumbs in UI of Squirrly SEO and the new Home Section are organized much better
